Studio Policies

Payment Policy

Cancellation Policy

All lessons must be paid in advance (either per lesson or as a monthly/term package, as agreed upon).
Payment is due before the first lesson in a package or before a single scheduled lesson.
Lessons that are not paid in advance may be removed from the schedule.

At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered late cancellations and will be charged in full.

No-Show Policy

Practice & Preparation

A “no-show” is a missed lesson with no communication before the start time.
No-shows are charged in full and are not eligible for rescheduling or credit.
Repeated no-shows may result in loss of a regular lesson time.

Consistent practice between lessons is expected so that progress can be made.
Students should arrive with assigned music and materials, any tracks or scores needed, and a short list of questions or goals if helpful.
Lack of preparation will be discussed in a supportive way, but repeated patterns may lead to a conversation about scheduling and goals.

Respect & Professionalism

Communication

The studio is a space for respectful, inclusive, and professional interaction.
Disrespectful language, harassment, or discriminatory behavior is not tolerated.
Students are expected to arrive on time, ready to work, and to treat the space, equipment, and one another with care.

Scheduling, cancellations, and questions about lessons should be handled via email or the agreed-upon messaging platform.
Please allow reasonable time for responses; messages received late at night or on weekends may be answered the next business day.
If you are running late, please send a quick message. The lesson will still end at the scheduled time.
